Ever since we met in a hockey rink in grade twelve, I’ve known that Levi is my forever. My best friend (who is also Levi’s cousin) was sure that the two of us would make a perfect match and started taking me to watch Levi’s hockey games. Before I knew it, I was falling in love with this amazing, hardworking, countryman. Levi’s family loves the mountains and going on horseback riding and camping trips there, and soon I was part of these incredible mountain adventures. Levi and I visit the mountains as often as possible, and it is a shared love our ours.
The past seven years with Levi have truly been the best of my life, full of so much love and laughter. After years of anticipation from our friends and family (and myself, haha!), during the summer of 2018, Levi asked me to marry him in the remote mountains up at Ice Lake, a place Levi has loved since he was a child, and that quickly became my favourite place since he first took me there. It was one of the best days of my life. And from that moment, we started to plan our dream wedding!
We knew we would get married in the mountains, and The Lodge at Panther River was a place we loved and visited multiple times a year. It truly felt like a home away from home. The Lodge at Panther River was the perfect venue for us, and they had the most stunning outdoor ceremony spot for us; where right across the valley, you could see Ice Lake (our engagement spot) hidden in the farthest mountain. It was truly meant to be. Every little detail of our wedding was planned to represent Levi and me and the things we loved. We truly had the best day ever. We had the most AMAZING team of vendors, who I am lucky enough to call friends of mine, and were surrounded by our closest friends and family in the place we love most. It was the perfect beginning to our adventure, and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with Levi, making more memories in the mountains we love! Our adventure begins!
