Dan + Tiela
I was a barista at a coffee shop in Minnesota. Dan was a regular customer of mine. The more he came in the more we began to talk. Then talking turned into spending time together and then that turned into us dating (2013). We dated for a year before he moved to Colorado for his job. We were long distance for about a year and a half. After I finished culinary school I moved out to Denver to be with him. We had our daughter in October of 2017. Dan proposed in May of 2018 and we got married on October 6, 2019. We wanted our wedding to represent us. We didn’t want your normal wedding. We had less than 100 people, we picked our own music that we both loved. We really just wanted to spend a beautiful weekend with our close friends and family. At our wedding we had the most delicious food, we had personalized coffee bags as wedding favors, and we had donuts instead of a cake. So much of our relationship has revolved around coffee and we both LOVE coffee, we felt it was the only way to go. They were a special touch on our wedding day. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful weekend with the ones we love.
