One: Disco at the Table
Starting off our list strong, Harper & Logan’s tablescape was very “va va voom” in Vancouver. DreamGroup Weddings & Events dreamed up an ethereal blend of elegance and rock, with climbing, spray-painted flowers from Écorce Flowers and tiered floating candles filling the space. The use of different heights doesn’t stop there, because suspended above the tables were layered twinkling disco balls, casting light and shadows on the guests, infusing the chic B&W scene with an unexpected touch of retro-glamour. The juxtaposition of the classic white blossoms with the lively sparkle of the disco balls created the right type of ambiance to land this tablescape in our top in 2023. Two: Wyoming Warmth
This tablescape from a Jackson Hole styled shoot looked like a romantic, intimate dinner party we would want to be invited to. Vida Events collaborated closely with Diana Edlinger Studios to design a sophisticated event that captured a deep connection between two lovers becoming one. Clear glassware, black tapered candles, and neutral-colored floral arrangements kept this table elegant & minimalistic, but unmistakably cool.
Three: Dinner to Dusk
Inspired by the moments after a couple says “I do!”, La Fete Floral & Events planned this sophisticated & stylish, colorful & chic styled shoot at Twenty & Creek outside of Salt Lake City, Utah. The day was all about fun, “the party”, indulgence, celebrating the vows, and the special one-on-one intimate moments after the ceremony that make the night memorable. The tablescape held no shortage of “fun”, full of life and color – from red blooms to blue candles. Find more floral filled fun from this shoot on our blog post here!

Four: Sunset in Snowmass
We love the creative usage of leather elements in this sunset color-schemed styled shoot in Snowmass – from the special chairs to the engraved table numbers. The amber glassware and marble candlestick holders hold a special place in our hearts, too. Calluna Events knew exactly how to keep on theme with a color scheme in the most effortlessly beautiful way – even using bronze silverware to tie things together. Five: Elegant Old World Charm
Leaning into the venue’s stunning Hampton-inspired architecture and old-world charm, this elevated styled shoot was beyond romantic with a touch of English elegance. Ira & Lucy designed a glowing, candlelit tablescape with a gorgeous draping linen from Nuage Designs, bringing some extra charm to Idaho. Six: Pink and Posh
Stephanie & Evan said “I do” in the summertime in Castle Rock, Colorado, and didn’t hold back with the bright bold colors of the season. Their tented tablescape – designed by Brindle + Oak– was filled with pink roses and garden-inspired prints to make this one pop on our list of favorites in 2023! Seven: Tassels in the Tent
Becca & Anthony’s black chairs, black flatware, and matching opaque black glassware wasn’t enough at their Boulder wedding, they needed Laurel & Rose to work with this incredibly talented vendor team to create a tent filled with even more depth dimension – mainly coming from these incredible black tassel chandeliers. We love the way the warm light coming in & the white florals counter the powerful dark elements of the tablescape. See more photos from this list-topper in our 2023 Colorado issue.

Eight: Rainbow in the Rockies
Lovebirds Madeline & Filip had a tablescape that was giving “Lover” by Taylor Swift in the best way. Dyed baby’s breath hung from the ceilings of a clear tent to create pastel clouds that stunned against an Alberta sunset sky. The opaque black ghost chairs and neutral linen/flatware combination allowed for the multicolored floral centerpieces by Fall for Florals to take center stage and take over the tent. Run to our 2023 Canada Fall/Winter issue to reminisce on more of this rainbow-filled Rocky Mountain reception.

Nine: A Southwest Soiree
Inspired by the sentiment of a Southwestern romance, a talented team of New Mexican creatives – led by Just Lovely Weddings – intentionally designed this fairytale-esque editorial that draws on spring nuptials, golden colors, and warm light. The Pueblo architecture of this Taos venue allowed for even more Southwestern sunset tones to be included and inspire. At an intimate restaurant in the heart of Vancouver’s historic Gastown neighborhood, Biljana & Marko’s planner Wedding Concierge designed a dark & moody dinner party for the couples’ reception. The exposed brick walls helped the simple tapered candles stand out even more, all of the details giving this tablescape a touch of sexy mixed into the romance. See more of this sophisticated setting in our 2023 Canada Spring/Summer issue.
Eleven: Modern Moody Details
Mari & Cam’s fresh and modern wedding day design was comprised of a mid-century sunset color palette, playful shapes, and the use of different layers & textures. Mari was a lead designer with Bespoke Decor, and was able to completely create her wedding to be just what she envisioned. Our favorite parts of this golden tablescape were the circular place cards to match the modern flatware, and the rainbow shaped floral vases. Tablescapes don’t usually top our lists by staying inside the box after all! See more shots of this stunner of a table on our blog post here.
Twelve: A Valentine’s Date
This Valentine’s Day inspired shoot in Alberta put an emphasis on romance, but was anything but cliché. Dusty mauve tones and other rich colors filled the tablescape in florals and candlesticks, exuding sophistication with a little extra romantic touch from the draping white linen. Check out more from “Cupid” in our blog post here.
Thirteen: High Class & High Ceilings
Alex & Eric’s vendor team knew how to create warmth from color at a tablescape set in a white & bright venue. La Fete Floral designed the day and decked out the space in full-of-life florals – making this Midway, Utah barn feel as elevated as these high ceilings. See more sweet simplicity from A & E’s reception in our 2023 Utah Fall/Winter issue.
Fourteen: Whiter than Snow
A tablescape doesn’t always need color to top our list. The baby’s breath lining the table took our breath away, but not quite as much as the incredible – and perfectly matching – snowcapped mountain views through the stunning floor to ceiling windows at Sky Bistro. Fifteen: A Color Block in Colorado
Calla Lane Florals created colorful contained-chaos to capture the untamed beauty of fall landscapes at this creative editorial in Colorado. Drawing inspiration from earthy and airy elements, this autumnal tablescape is a masterful blend of both neutral and bold palettes, creating a “color-block” that defines the fall season. Sixteen: The Secret Garden
We are enamored with this tablescape designed by The Little Gem Details from our Idaho 2023 issue for its enchanting departure from conventional themes, whisking us away into a dreamy secret garden party reception that effortlessly transports the celebration into Wonderland, expertly captured by Radion Photography. The meticulous attention to detail, from the pearl white overlay on pale blue linen to the overgrown floral arrangements with a subtle hint of blue, transforms the tabletop into a modern indoor garden, infusing the atmosphere with a whimsical charm that captivates and delights. Bride Gracie was a wedding photographer herself, so she was able to use her expertise to grasp her vision and get a vendor team who would make a gorgeous tablescape in this sparkling tent. Birch & Honey Collective brought together all of Gracie & Tommy’s colors in their palette, different patterns like these gingham napkins, and fun shapes like these bubble candlestick holders to help their tablescape top our list. We love the contrast of the warm, almost rustic elements of the tables & tent against the classy black and white dance floor! Eighteen: Beauty in the Barn
Adele & Derek wed against the Wasatch Mountain Range and then headed inside to this garden party. The blue toile patterned plates, springtime blooms, ivory textured linen, and light wooden chairs and chargers helped a darker-wooden barn feel so bright. Flip through our 2023 Utah Spring/Summer issue to focus on the details of this French-leaning tablescape!
Nineteen: Modern in Red
A bird’s eye view of a beautiful table was bound to make our list of top tablescapes in 2023. From the monochromatic stems of each bloom, to the modern-mid-century black flatware and candlestick holders, to the bold terracotta tones, we can’t keep our eyes off this autumnal editorial in our 2023 Canada Fall/Winter issue.
Twenty: Big Blooms in Bozeman
We’re ending our list strong with a table so full of flowers we aren’t sure where the table stops and the beauty by Amanda Jewel begins. The textured linen from BBJ La Tavola was the perfect added shiny touch. See more abundant florals from this styled shoot in Bozeman in our 2023 Montana issue.
