Wedding bouquets are so much more than just a pretty piece of decor to hold – your talented florist will take your favorite flowers and your color scheme encapsulate your own personal bridal style and the overall theme of the wedding. Whether composed of romantic roses, springtime blooms, all white flowers, or dried florals, bouquets carry sentiment and significance while you carry them, and we’ve found out favorites from 2023. All of these bouquets are uniquely beautiful, and we think that’s because each one shows a little bit of these uniquely beautiful brides’ personalities! Scroll through to see which flowers held the power to make our list of the 18 best bouquets in the 2023 wedding year!
One: Ranunculus in Rouge
A small bouquet can still make a big impact, and this little beauty full of red-orange-hued ranunculus and poppies made quite the impression on us this year. Hannah & Milan’s florist Storylines Floral Co. created magic with this organic shaped bouquet, and you can see more floral art from their wedding day in our 2023 Montana issue!
Fresh, bright, fun, and contemporary whimsy were the vibes Mari & Cam were going for, and their florist Celsia Floral helped them achieve just that on their wedding day! This bursting bouquet full of light peaches and dusty oranges added the neutral-leaning pop of color the couple needed to elevate their outfits. See more bouquet shots from their British Columbia wedding day on our blog here!
For this springtime styled shoot, a golden bouquet stole the spotlight with a charming array of yellow roses and an assortment of dainty blossoms that radiated the essence of spring. The muted, dusty yellow ribbon was the perfect tough to tie these blooms together! See all of the gorgeous florals from this styled shoot in our Canada Fall/Winter 2023 issue.
Taryn & Lucas kept it completely classic in Colorado. Taryn’s all white garden rose bouquet by Figment Floral made the best kind of statement, and went perfectly with her chic satin gown. See more rose-filled romance on their wedding day blog here!
Melinda’s bouquet burst full of color during her & Jason’s Beaver Creek, Colorado wedding day. We love a big peony, and the different shades of pink make M look even more like a bridal Barbie on her big day! Check out their wedding day blog to see all of the gorgeous flowers from Lace & Lillies!
This buttercup-beauty of a bouquet boasted big golden-yellow and white peonies for a statement piece from this “Chanel Meets Chateau” inspired styled shoot at Stein Eriksen Lodge in Park City. Mille Fleur Design drew inspiration from the classic Chanel No. 5 perfume bottle for the golden and white hues in this masterpiece. We say “oui oui” to these French-inspired florals, and you can see more of them from this shoot in our Utah Spring/Summer 2023 issue!
Gracie got to hold a whole garden party in her hands for her wedding day in gorgeous Evergreen, Colorado! We love how many different flowers her florist Anthousai fit into this one floral arrangement, but our favorite might be the centerpiece ombre dahlia. This full bouquet brought some brighter color to a winter wedding day with an all green backdrop. See more angles (because this bouquet is different any way you look at it with all of these unique blooms!) of this beauty in our Colorado Fall/Winter 2023 issue.
This bouquet screams passion to us, being filled with anemones and roses in reddish colors of romance. The striking combination of crimson red and deep purple blooms make every eye draw straight to the florals in the photos from this shoot, Mum’s Weddings knew exactly what they were doing with this one! See more floral *style* from this styled shoot in the woods of Montana in our National 2023 issue.
Why have just one bouquet when you can have two?! Both of these bouquets make our favorites list, because florist Modern Flowers created art for this styled shoot and might just inspire a trend in 2024 to have a different bouquet for your dress change! The all white, orchid filled bouquet has an organic essence, showing that you don’t need your bouquet to be a “pop of color” for it to stand out. The cascading, deep hued bouquet shows just how beautiful that “pop of color” can be, especially with gorgeous purple orchids (which happened to be “Viva Magenta”, the 2023 Pantone color of the year!) cascading down. See more magic from Modern Flowers in this styled shoot in our Canada Fall/Winter 2023 issue.
These dramatic, dusty rose dahlias are literally the perfect look for a desert wedding in Zion. By Bloomers‘ bouquet looks absolutely gorgeous against the red rocks of the canyon, and we love the way it *pops* out of some boots for a western feel. Plus, the way the smaller stems spider out to create more space is seriously art in the middle of a Utah’s wilderness. Check out more dreamy floral details from this desert-inspired styled shoot in our blog, and the Utah Fall/Winter 2023 issue.
This bouquet was so pretty it made the cover of our Colorado Fall/Winter 2023 issue! Paper Heart Productions put together the perfect arrangement for Sabrina & Ronin’s white-filled celebration in Denver. We live in the snowy Rockies after all, so why not have your bouquet reflect how beautiful a white winter can be!
Maddy & Kyler’s florist – That Flower Shop – wowed all of Wyoming (and the rest of the Rockies) with this one! This bouquet landed on our favorites list because, well, you can never have too many flowers – especially when they look this pretty all together. See all of the different stems in our Wyoming 2023 issue.
There’s just something about springtime blooms that we can’t seem to get enough of! This fun pink & orange filled bouquet makes us feel happier just looking at it. Two Hands Floral‘s use of dahlias, marigolds, ranunculus, and more made Sarah & Greg’s Sun Valley, Idaho wedding day just that much prettier! Check out more creative florals in our Idaho 2023 issue!
Not to be dramatic, but we are literally falling for this autumn-hued bouquet from Stigma & Style Co. The use of fall leaves and pampas was the perfect ode to the season, without being too “themed”. The deep toned bouquet looked incredible against Mikara’s wedding day fur in the Wyoming winter. We know you want to see more of M&C’s whimsical fall florals in our Wyoming 2023 issue!

Wooley & Olivia’s summery wedding in Sun Valley was just that – full of sunshine! Olivia’s bouquet from Bloom Theory Studio brought even more brightness, being a stunning pop of colors against the yellows and greens of the valley. Check out more pretty floral pops from this wedding day in our Sun Valley Wedding Guide.
The tiny blooms in this not-so-tiny bouquet remind us of snow flakes falling, so we couldn’t have dreamt up a better winter bouquet if we tried! Rebecca & Thomas wanted their Vancouver wedding day to have a “laid-back” feel, and a cascading bouquet from The Wild Bunch Flower Shop was the perfect touch to create that organic essence. See more sweet & small details from their wedding day in our Canada Fall/Winter 2023 issue.
Bree & Steve tied to knot in the summertime in Whistler, BC, and a beautiful day was made even more beautiful with this bouquet. The Canadian ceremony was outside in a big field (since the Rockies don’t need too much added decor with those beautiful mountain views!), and Bree’s cascading orchid bouquet popped against all of the green. See more from florist Flowers and Jules in our Whistler Wedding Guide.
This mix of fresh & dried florals is giving “Anthropologie” in the best way. Figment Floral – for the second time on our list – designed this favorite bold bouquet for Kate & Trip’s colorful wedding day in Vail, Colorado. Check out more of these creative blooms in our Colorado Spring/Summer 2023 issue.
