The Best Getting Ready Outfits for a Bride and her Bridesmaids

From robes to matching pajamas brides and their tribe are getting ready, sipping champagne in the cutest and comfiest ways. We’ve rounded up some of our favorite getting ready looks to inspire the style you want to get ready in with your girls.

Monograms

Monograms add a fun touch of personalization for you and your girls! The bride below distinguished her maids of honor in a light blue monogrammed pajama set while the rest of her bridesmaids wore a navy blue monogrammed set. A fun way to incorporate something blue, too! The bride, of course, wore a white set with her new last name and date embroidered. These monogrammed getting ready sets are something your bridesmaids can wear for many nights to come!

Fringe

This Boulder bride, featured in our Boulder Wedding Guide, fitted her party in a rust-colored robe adorned with fringe sleeves. While the robes are simple and comfortable, the fringe adds an element of pizazz! The bride chose to wear a long white dress with black floral embroidery, perfect for that farm or ranch wedding. We love how the bride’s getting ready outfit stands out from the rest. She is, after all, the star of the day!

If fringe isn’t for you, choose another fun detail like these fun ruffle PJs sets from Plum Pretty Sugar!

Mom’s and Mother-In-Laws

Don’t forget about the moms! After all, you wouldn’t be here without them! We adore that this bride put her mom in a similar robe to the bridesmaids for her Villa Parker wedding. Consider putting your mother-in-law to be in something similar to the wording, mother-of-the-groom.

All Black or All White

Whether you want an all-white party like this bride featured in our Albuquerque Wedding Guide, or just you in white, these ladies look sleek! The contrast between the black and white distinguishes you from your bridesmaids like this bridal party featured in our McCall Wedding Guide. These getting ready outfits are also sets your bridesmaids can wear over and over again!

Target has the comfiest PJ sets around! If you love the black button-down dress look, snag these soft nightgowns up!

Patterns and Prints

For a summer wedding go with a light-colored floral print! This bride matched her ladies in a blue and green floral tank and shorts set for her summer Aspen wedding. Lightweight and comfortable is exactly what you and your bridesmaids will want when getting ready together. Slippers are highly encouraged!

Add Accessories

Jackets

Match your girls by adding on a denim jacket, perfect for those chilly summer nights. This Wyoming bride gifted her bridesmaids these custom jackets that are fire and will keep you warm through that sparkler exit.

Want your bridesmaids to sport these trendy jackets all day long? Pair them with a basic one-color PJ pant set for morning-of activities!

Socks

Consider some fuzzy socks if you’re having a winter wedding to keep your feet from getting cold, literally and figuratively. This Colorado bride gifted her girls some fuzzy bridesmaids socks to stay cozy while getting ready.
