“Nick and I got engaged in Yosemite National Park, one of our favorite places in the world. The day of Nick’s proposal, we woke up to a winter wonderland in the valley. It had snowed overnight, and the valley was blanketed with fresh snow. It was a beautiful morning. We picked up some coffee and headed over to the historic Ahwahnee Hotel where we strolled down to the river to a spot that we frequented each time we would visit. The air was quiet, and we were the only two souls in sight. As we soaked in the view of the river and embraced the snow falling from the sky, I turned around to find Nick on one knee, ring in hand. Saying yes to spending the rest of my life with him was the easiest decision I have ever made.”
