Sweet New Mexico Engagement Among the Cacti

It’s funny how life turns out, because things truly never go as planned. When I met Drake, I actually initially hated him! He had dated my friend and transferred into my class and because their break up ended so poorly. I, of course, took it upon myself to make fun of him constantly. He somehow ended up taking another friend of mine to prom, but at the end of the night WE were the ones exchanging numbers and texting constantly?! It was crazy! When we started dating a month later, I had no idea if it would last. Here we are, five years later and he is my entire world – my best friend, and the love of my life. Life definitely does not go as planned, it goes better. I just love what we have built up together.
