Utah Styled Shoot
The moment I saw the baby goats at Brittany's childhood home, I knew I wanted to create a baby-barnyard shoot around this sweet, country theme. The backyard is lush and open with a little goat house that houses 3 goats, Harriet- the mama goat, and her 2 kids, (literally known as kids!) Huck & Hank. A quaint wooden bridge crossing a small stream, a nice flat tree across the stream - perfect for crossing barefoot, and pristine, clean, natural space perfect for an intimate wedding party.
I had the perfect gown in my collection to enhance the 'sweet' sentiment of the baby goats. The Lillian is a convertible dress that features a sweetheart neckline, sheer lace elbow-length sleeves, and a fitted bodice all tied up in a soft back bow. Here's the fun part; the dress itself is tea length, but for a more formal look, it is worn with a long multi-tiered scalloped lace skirt underneath, so it actually looks like it is just a long wedding dress. But......drop the long skirt, and you are ready to kick up your heels, and line-dance and party the night away!
Both Whitney & Taylor are country kids at heart They are wearing their own cowboy boots and Taylor is in his favorite belt and dressiest cowboy hat! They way he moves and stands is real! He is a real cowboy!

My vision for this styled shoot was to bring in romance and color that would compliment the goat farmland while mixing elegance into one setting. The flowers are my "Fresh Touch Silks", they look and feel real, but are eco-friendly, reusable and rentable. The full-color pallet brought so much life into this farm setting. To top the table off we added gold accents and hand-painted goat pates that gave it a whimsical feel, while still be elegant. Putting the goats, Harriet, Huck & Hank in little flower garland collars that matched the flower girls created a bit of fun, and kept the look barnyard sweet. Adding more florals to the trees, the bridge, and the hanging natural greenery chandelier over the table added to the ambiance.
