Sweet and Sun-Drenched Jackson Hole Engagement

Wyoming Engagement

The Couple

Riley + Will

One Saturday morning in July, Riley and Will got up early for a sunrise hike to Lake Mary in Big Cottonwood Canyon, Utah. As the golden light illuminated the trees, Will took Riley’s hands and began telling her why he loved her. Riley wondered why he was being so sweet and saying such nice things, when Will got down on one knee it all made sense! After the shock wore off, Riley said a resounding yes and the two hiked back down where they were surprised by some of Riley’s best friends in the parking lot. The surprises kept coming, when they got home Riley was shocked to see a surprise engagement party with friends from near and far setup in the backyard. Will had planned everything to a T and it was the perfect weekend spent celebrating their engagement. A few days later the couple drove up to Jackson Hole, Wyoming for an engagement session. Riley’s sister is a photographer, who gifted them a portrait session to celebrate their engagement. The Jackson Hole area is full of stunning locations, but the photographer opted for locations off the beaten path. From a tucked away cabin in the town of Jackson to fields on the National Elk Refuge, the scenery did not disappoint and Riley and Will’s love shone through in every moment.
