Colorado sunshine and beautiful mountain peaks graced Brad + Alex’s November Manor Housewedding. Jacie Marguerite Photography’s beautiful style combined with the couple’s stunning wedding planning skills made this wedding a hit. The bride, Korynne + Company, even designed her own stationery and signage!
The Wedding
Just days before their early November wedding at The Manor House, Durango couple Alex and Brad watched as heavy snow fell among the front range. At the rehearsal the day before the wedding, a blanket of snow covered the ceremony site. Although The Manor House offers an indoor ceremony option in case of inclement weather, Alex and Brad decided to stick to their guns and host an outdoor wedding. The next day, the warm Colorado sunshine brought temps into the high 60s and The Manor House team cleared snow to create space for chairs, no questions asked. Needless to say, the wedding went off without a hitch – and the photos by Jacie turned out spectacular with just a touch of that Colorado snow on a beautiful late fall day!
Love Story
Brad and Alex met in 2012 when they were both attending Colorado Mesa University where Alex chose to go on a whim. They met each other just days after the first day of school and as most will say, the rest is history. They went on a few dates and then in September of 2012, Brad asked Alex to be his girlfriend with a yellow rose, Alex’s favorite color. They are truly soulmates for each other as after the very first date they went on, Alex went to chat everything over with her best friend, who’s name also happens to be Alex, and told her that she was going to marry Brad some day. They love traveling together and just going on adventures. Humor is also HUGE in their relationship. They just love to laugh and have fun each and every day as you can tell from all their photos, they are goofballs and just fit together so well.
