It was a cold New York City January morning when I heard a loud slam of the apartment front door. I flew out of bed, and into the living room where I saw flowers everywhere, Father Of The Bride playing on the television, and a note that read “This is really happening. Get ready, and meet me at 8 am at our favorite coffee shop in the West Village. A car will be downstairs in 45 minutes to pick you up!!” Soon after, I showed up at a quaint and perfect coffee shop to find Noah down on one knee, with a hazelnut latte, and the ring of my dreams. As if that wasn’t enough, he led me to another favorite spot of ours for breakfast where all of our family members were gathered around to surprise us, having flown in from the midwest. I was overjoyed, to say the least. To top it all off, we made our way back to our apartment where the last surprise took place. All of our best friends from across the country had come to New York to celebrate our engagement weekend with us! It was everything I could have ever wanted to start the rest of my life with Noah.
While we both live in New York, we knew right away we wanted our wedding to have a totally different feel. We’d always envisioned a weekend retreat in the Colorado mountains. After looking at many dreamy locations we settled on Vail, CO where we will have our wedding on June 30, 2019. We were so excited to capture the beauty and all things we love about Colorado during our engagement photo session with Tara Bielecki.
