When designing the look/vibe for our wedding, we knew from the beginning that we wanted a clean color palette. Something about a neutral-palette wedding is so romantic to me, so I was obsessed with how everything turned out.
We were often asked what our colors were going to be, and my answer was always “all neutrals” — whites, creams, nudes, navy, natural greens and a hint of gold.
The detail that we focused on the most was definitely the wedding florals. I think flowers have such an impact on the “feel” of an event and especially a wedding.
After various meetings and emails with Kara (and after working with her previously at an RMB photoshoot!), we 100% trusted her to create beautiful florals/greenery and she definitely delivered. The bouquets, centerpieces, boutonnieres, ceremony greenery, etc., were beautifully romantic and airy- just what we had envisioned!
June 1st, 2019 was so special for various reasons. We had our nearest and dearest friends standing beside us and supporting us. We had all of Lysa’s (Justin’s mom) family attending from Nevada, and sentimental details honoring her, and that was really special. The weather was outstanding and a special rainbow appeared at our reception that we know was Justin’s mom.
It makes my heart grow 10x when everyone I love is in the same place at the same time, and that’s just what happened on our wedding day. The day was breezy, bright, joyful and an all-around dream come true. It sure feels nice to be a Mrs.!
