Wedding Day

We got married at the Flying Horse Ranch in Larkspur, Colorado. Which is just south of where I grew up in Highlands Ranch, CO.

I had been looking forward to this day ever since I was a little girl and enjoyed planning every last detail of it with my mom and sister. (I don't know what I am going to do with all my time now.) And everything turned out perfect, and I'm not just saying that because I am biased and the bride, it was literally perfect! The weather, the company, the food, the drink, the speeches, the ceremony.. just all flawless. Couldn't have asked for a better wedding day.

The day was filled with so much LOVE. I have never felt more special in my life. Family and friends came from; Boston, Rhode Island, Atlanta, Louisiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, Washington, Montana, Florida, and California to watch Dustin and I tie the knot. We are extremely blessed. The day consisted of each of us getting ready with our gals/guys, moms/dads, taking photos, sipping mimosas/Coors light, laughing and crying, and enjoying the moment. It goes by so fast!!! The ceremony started at 5 and it was beautiful. There was a huge gust a wind as I came down the aisle and my veil flew off and tangled up with my dad (it helped lighten the nerves lol) Our pastor from our church in Montana (where Dustin and I live now) performed the ceremony and he made it so personal, funny, and holy. The reception was filled with tons of laughter, amazing food, margaritas, and lots of booties on the dance floor! One of my favorite memories will be the father of the bride speech which had me and every guest, on the floor laughing! We danced the night away with friends and family, starting with some country classics and ending with a dance party, they sent us off the sparkler way and we jetted off for Jamaica early the next morning. I was told by many guests that the wedding reflected us perfectly, just very "us", simple, rustic, beautiful, loving, and fun. I would do it all over again the exact same way.

I was raised most of my life in Colorado and Dustin was raised in Washington and lived in Idaho for years. We are Rocky Mountain home-bodies and settled on northwest Montana to plant our roots :) we love the mountains- camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, 4-wheeling, you name it were doing it together. We love to play cards, eat good food, drink great beer, and most importantly devote our marriage and lives to the Lord. He has blessed us immensely.
