Love Story

Mathew and I first met in grade 9! We were middle school crushes and decided to go on a "date." Our date consisted of a walk chaperoned by my little brother. We really liked each other but ended up attending different high schools and drifted apart. It wasn't till 4 years after school that we ran into one another at an event. We laughed about old times and instantly hit it off. Soon after we started dating. Not long into our relationship I decided to travel Europe for two months with my best friend Haley. I was excited but nervous to be apart from Mathew for so long. It was hard but it was such an amazing turning point in our relationship. Being away only showed us how much we were meant to be together, from that point on we just knew. When I came back from Europe we had a teary eyed reunion and spent the weekend in Canmore, Mat took me on a beautiful hike and it instantly became a special place in our hearts. Four years later Mat and I decided to visit our favourite spot, little did I know this place would mean even more. It was on that cool March day that Mathew asked me to be his wife and I couldn't have imagined a more perfect setting. This is partly why we knew tying the knot in Canmore was a no brainer! When we set out to plan our wedding we wanted to try to keep it as intimate as possible, we really had the people who meant the most to us there that day and I wouldn't have changed a thing. As a bride, you spend so much time and effort planning, I was so lucky to have such amazing vendors to help us along the way. Everyone involved made us feel so taken care and truly showed an interest in our vision. We really did have the perfect day, it flew by so fast that we can't help but dream of doing it all over again. Our wedding day was everything we could have dreamed of. We are loving every minute of being Mr. and Mrs. McNabb and are so thankful we have this memory to look back on. When you find the one you love everything feels complete.
