Most weddings these days include more than just the wedding day itself. There’s the bridal shower, possibly an engagement party, the bachelorette party or getaway weekend, the rehearsal dinner, maybe a post-wedding brunch, and the honeymoon. With all of these events, you have more opportunities to show off your own personal style to friends and family. You may opt to go a little more classic for your wedding dress, but when it comes to the events before and after the wedding, our advice is to have fun with it.

Below you’ll find some of Kelly’s and her team’s top picks for all of your wedding-related events this season.
Bridal Shower
Bridal showers are all about your girl gang, so we love opting for styles that are feminine, but with a twist. Going for an unexpected element keeps your look from feeling unoriginal.
The Robbie Dress ($240), pictured above, is tame enough for grandma, but still feels fresh with pops of floral embroidery and sheer detailing at the neckline and waistline. Pair this with a cute wedge and a round rattan purse and you’re all set!
Who says you have to wear white? Blue is a way to still feel bridal without feeling like your dress screams “bride.” This For Love & Lemons ($280) pick, pictured above left, is so chic, and bonus: super versatile long after the wedding!
But, if you want to stick with the traditional white dress, The Tabby Dress ($173), pictured above right, is the perfect combo of sweet and stylish, in an amazing embossed fabric and flutter sleeves. We love this look for any bridal shower, and it could easily double as a dress to wear on your honeymoon. We’re a fan of any dress you can multiple wears out of!
Bachelorette Weekend
Brides opting for a weekend getaway for their bachelorette celebration will need extra outfit options so they can feel their best whether they’re sipping on mimosas at brunch or hitting up the town for some dancing. This reversible-sequin mini ($163), pictured above left, is like a glass of bubbly in dress form. With a shift silhouette, it’s also super comfy, meaning you don’t have to worry about having those extra margaritas on your bachelorette weekend!
Another option we’re loving is this wide-leg jumpsuit ($198), pictured above right. Jumpsuits can be dressed up or down and they’re the perfect piece to throw in a suitcase for any bachelorette location. The floral print on this one feels like just the right amount of edgy.
This For Love & Lemons Maxi ($280), pictured above, doubles as a poolside lounge dress, or an easy, all-eyes-on-the-bride look for a night on the town. With an open back and plunging-V, it’s definitely a statement but remains tasteful and totally stylish. Consider adding a dainty drop necklace to glam this up a notch!
Rehearsal Dinner
The night before the wedding is the perfect time to give your friends, family, and soon-to-hubby just a hint at what your wedding day style will be like, without giving away too much. We love the idea of mirroring one element of your wedding day look in your rehearsal dinner attire to tie it all together; whether it’s the dress, the flowers or the venue.
Does your wedding have an Art Deco or glam vibe? The Heloise Dress ($265), pictured above left, would make for the perfect rehearsal dinner look. With rose gold linear sequins and sheer details, it’s refined but unfussy, and could totally be re-worn later on to a cocktail party or to an evening wedding.

Honeymoon
Finally, when it’s time to relax after the stress and craziness of wedding planning, you’ll definitely want pieces that are comfortable, versatile, and easy-to-pack. It’s probably the last time you’ll get to call yourself a “bride” so some extra-special looks are a great way to continue the celebrations.
