The Proposal

Blake likes to joke around, so for weeks, he tried to throw me off by making it seem like he was about to propose. One night I told him that I wanted to go on a hike in Rock Canyon. While we were hiking he mentioned that he hoped that he remembered to lock his car. I told him that I left my wallet in his car, so it wouldn’t be great if it was unlocked. He then replied that it would be even worse if the car wasn’t locked, because my ring was in there. I laughed it off and said there was no way. He agreed, and then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. We were all alone, so it was a sweet and intimate moment.
