Spring Mountain Engagement Session

Montana Engagement

It was two days after Christmas and we were in Florida for a family vacation. My fiance and I are super big on going on adventures and have never been known to turn one down. He asked me at 10:00 at night while we were sitting in our rental condo if I wanted to go explore and go on an adventure, of course, I said yes, not having any idea what it could possibly entail. At first, we were just wandering around in some parking lots around the condo and I was like “Okay, this isn’t the adventure I was thinking of.” I had no idea he was going to propose but I could tell he was nervous about something. Finally, he asked me if I wanted to go visit the pier that overlooks one of the bays in Florida. We had been there the night before, there were Christmas lights lighting up the whole pier and it was beautiful. We get to the end of the pier and I see a bottle sitting in the middle of the gazebo with a letter in it. I ran up to it, starting reading the well thought out love letter that he had pushed inside the bottle, turned around and he was down on one knee. I was so ecstatic, I didn’t even realize his sister was hiding in the corner filming the whole thing. There were tears, hugs, and lots of smiles. It was one of the best days of my life… Next to the day, I get to stand up at the altar and marry him, of course!
