Andrea + Kevin
This real wedding featured some very romantic and sentimental elements to the design. Our bride wanted to include baby’s breath, so naturally, we went big and gave her a dreamy, magazine-worthy arch draped in astilbe, roses, baby breath and more! When our groom proposed to his wife, he added a small blue feather to the ring box. This was something they both knew about from a game they played where a blue feather acts as an engagement ring. They wanted blue feathers incorporated into their wedding somehow and we found the perfect way to do it. We had two custom walls built and secured envelopes from light to dark blue on them with guests’ names. This served as the escort wall. When the guest found their name, they opened the envelope to find their name card with their own blue feather attached with a monogrammed gold wax seal. It was incredibly thoughtful and elegant. Our couple also requested some traditional cultural elements for their final wedding design. We worked with them to create ceremony programs in the shape of a fan for each guest to receive when they arrived. They also held a Chinese Tea Ceremony with a modern design. Their serving backdrop featured blush drapes with a custom-made gold acrylic Chinese happiness symbol, instead of the typical red.
