Snowy Mountain Range Autumn Engagement

Wyoming Engagement

When I met our photographer Molly, I told her how Matt and I love the mountains.  That is who we are and where we belong.  One day, Molly asked me what I thought about Snowy Range. Little did she know, Snowy Range has Matt and I’s hearts.  For me, my family has a cabin in Fox Park, Wyoming where we had owned a snowmobile business for several years. Snowy Range was just around the corner and we grew up riding there every winter and still do. When Matt and I cross the Wyoming border from Colorado, it feels heavenly. Once we got into Snowy Range for our shoot, it wasn’t hard to find spots to take photos; the entire landscape is incredible! I wanted spots that would show the beauty of Wyoming and why Matt and I love it there. For one of our spots, we just pulled off on the side of Highway 130 at a turnaround and walked up the hill a bit.  We also went to the overlook. Lastly, Molly had an idea about Lake Marie. Because of Molly’s keen eye for catching the most perfect moments, and for Snowy Range creating a home for Matt and me in our hearts, all of our engagement photos perfectly reflected who we are.

For my outfits, I wanted a maxi dress that complemented the mountains as well as let the Wyoming wind wisp it away a little bit.  I found the off the shoulder maxi dress at my favorite online store, VICI dolls. For my second outfit, I wanted something casual that I actually wear more often than not. I found the distressed skinny jeans on VICI dolls and my crocheted top at Boot Barn. My booties were on the sale rack at DSW for $25. I’m all about some good sales!
