Snowy Breckenridge Elopement

Cody and I are college sweethearts who moved out to Colorado from the Dallas area and knew our big day needed to be in the mountains. We had beautiful spring weather the week leading up but then had a snowstorm on our wedding day in true Colorado fashion. We absolutely loved having snow on our big day but felt bad having to make Marianne stand out in the freezing cold with us. As a wedding planner at Petal and Bean, I had planned about 3 different weddings but knew a small intimate ceremony was for us. Cody was technically our officiant so it made everything he said that much sweeter.

Fun fact: we were both models in a Rocky Mountain shoot right before we got engaged! The shoot with showcasing the town of Frisco so we had practiced getting all dolled up for our big day.
