Angel + Aaron Chung
The picnic, cute pup and darling couple have us starry eyed. If you’re looking for engagement inspiration, this is it! Hennygraphy captured this beautiful engagement at North Arm Farm and One Mile Lake, in Pemberton, British Columbia and we’re lucky enough to share it with all of you!
It was winter of 2019, fast approaching the holiday season. Angel and Aaron had been dating for 4 years at this point, after having known each other for almost 10 years. Wanting to propose in a place that held significance to the both of them, and knowing that the best way to Angel’s heart was through her stomach, Aaron reserved a room in a restaurant they had enjoyed together 10 years ago when they first met. He had the room prepared with 5 dozen roses and coordinated with the restaurant to ensure that Angel would have no idea what to expect upon arriving at the restaurant.
On Christmas Eve, under the pretense of meeting Aaron’s mom for lunch, the two left for the restaurant with Aaron nervously driving and trying to maintain a normal conversation with Angel throughout the ride. Upon arriving at the restaurant, Aaron had to discreetly maneuver his blazer to hide the ring box he had hidden in his coat pocket. The hostess guided them towards the back of the restaurant and began leading them to the private room where the giant bouquet was waiting. Angel’s suspicions began to mount as the doors were closed behind them revealing only 2 table settings. With the silence in the air deafening, Aaron invited Angel to have a seat before taking a deep breath and recounting just how special Angel was to him. As his monologue came to an end, he reached into his coat pocket, went down on one knee, and opened the box. A teary Angel responded, “Of course!”
