When Salut Mobile Bar approached me to style a shoot to showcase his new bar set up I asked what his vision for it would be. He said he wanted it to feel like a wedding reception in the middle of a desert with the most adventurous couple. After chatting with the photographer on board, Kadie Hummel, we couldn’t stop circling back to Drumheller. It had the desert vibes that Salut Mobile Bar dreamed of and let’s be honest, we wanted Twisted Film Works to be able to fly the drone. We knew we wanted to incorporate earthy but yet feminine tones into the floral and decor design and get a bit out of the ordinary in terms of dress and suiting style. Vagabond Bridal was the PERFECT choice for this shoot, the high low style gown with textured floral appliques was unique and fit the backdrop so nicely. The dusty rose plaid suit from Supreme was far from the usual navy groom’s suit and boy did he rock it. The florals from Chickweed Cottage were wild at heart and so very feminine at the same time. We wanted to create a fun, easy-going atmosphere so the bridal couple sipped on French 75’s in vintage glassware from Orange Trunk with their best man and maid of honor till the sun went down.
