A Golden Sawtooth National Forest Elopement

Idaho Elopement

Taylor + Casey reached out to me with a vision for their day-- to capture Idaho in all of its glory. They love the rugged mountains, dry grass in the heat of summer, brown and golden fields-- and they wanted to get married in a place that meant the world to them. These two had been together ELEVEN YEARS, on the day that they eloped. They wanted this day to mean something to them, and mean something to who they are as a couple. Just them, and their little pup Maude-- with their favorite teacher who became a life long friend sealing the deal.

They got ready in a rented Airbnb that overlooked the Sawtooths -- shared drinks and appetizers, and then read the most beautiful vows as the sun set over the mountain peaks with the wind whistling through the grass and tears welling up in their eyes. We spent the remainder of the evening running through the wide open fields in front of one of the most epic mountain ranges that Idaho has to offer as the mountains turned blue and the sun disappeared over the horizon.
