Jesslyn + Joshua
Planning a wedding can be one of the most fun yet stressful times of your life, but in the end, it is seriously so worth it! To see your beautiful bride walk down the aisle and to get to celebrate such a magical day with all your friends and family makes all the hard work worth it. Planning a wedding in the midst of a pandemic was a challenge for Jesslyn and I. We had our fair share of struggles, from not being able to invite all of our family and friends due to restrictions and having multiple venues fall through. At one point, it almost felt like our dream wedding wasn’t going to happen. Until two months before our wedding date, we found our dream location on the most incredible historic farm in Duncan, British Columbia.
We had spent most of the day, Friday, before our wedding setting up the venue and putting all the little details together with our friends and family. Yet, when Saturday came, it still felt like a complete surprise to both of us. The amount of detail our dear friend and florist poured into her work all morning long completely transformed the venue. Every little detail put together formed the most breathtaking day. From getting married by my grandpa under the arch Jesslyn and I built together to reading our heartfelt personal vows. From having our first look of the reception space together to taking a moment to slow down and soak up the whole day during our sunset session. We would not change a thing about our special day. It was truly the best day of our lives.
