Dress: Nirvana by Galia Lahav
Spring has sprung and that means that so have wedding gown designers’ new Spring 2023 lines! I don’t think I have been more excited about bridal fashion than I am right now. There are so many different options out there for brides. Short dresses, dresses with removable sleeves, hooded capes, removable skirts, dresses with major drama, simple classic dresses, dresses with color…and the list could go on for days.
We over at Rocky Mountain Bride are clearly lovers of all things wedding…which include wedding dresses. It’s a hard job to do…but we’ve decided to share some of our favorites from the 2023 season with you!
Dress: Nirvana by Galia Lahav
“Personally, I am the furthest thing from simple. Your wedding day is the time to shine, you should go big or go home! While simple dresses can be beautiful, they just aren’t for me. I am immediately drawn to the square neckline and 3D details on this stunner. The Nirvana dress from Galia Lahav is flirty and FUN!”

Dress: Lucia by Anaïs Annette
“Anaïs Anette has quickly become one of my favourite designers! Headquartered in my hometown of Calgary, AB, Anaïs Anette creates timeless and romantic gowns with details that are simply showstopping. I love a bridal sleeve, and the Lucia gown does it perfectly with draped, off-the-shoulder tulle sleeves adorned with sweet pearl details – did I mention they’re detachable? The tulle tie back also allows for a sweet bow moment, while the slit adds the perfect amount of glamour!”

Dress: Elin by Kelly Faetanini
Dress: Kellen by Daughters of Simone
“I love everything Daughters of Simone does! The Kellen gown is gorgeous and versatile. I can see this gown being worn in so many ways! The shorter length makes it an amazing choice for a rehearsal dinner, welcome party, bridal shower, or your reception! Who doesn’t love an outfit change! With cowboy boots and a hat, it could be the perfect fit for the Western Bride yet with fun earrings and a high pony, a great fit for the Boho Bride. The intricate lace pattern and classic silhouette make this gown timeless yet trendy. I’m a big fan of a high neck accompanied with a low back – best of both worlds! I could see any Rocky Mountain Bride wearing this!”

Dress: Oceans by & For Love
“I love & For Love “Oceans”, the billowed sleeve trend feels classic and romantic to me, while the deep v and open back add a little allure and sexiness. There’s also something so dreamy about a light breeze-catching silk dress that’s a total must for photos! Plus it has pockets…. need a girl say more?”
Brit Tucker Kline – Colorado and New Mexico Editor
Dress: Mary by Christie Nicole
“Naturally, I gravitate towards Australian designs and the designer’s ability to produce unique, nontraditional gowns. This season, Christie Nicole Bridal created a collection of dramatic, edgy, and ethereal pieces. ‘Mary’ is beyond dreamy, featuring a figure-hugging silhouette and 3D floral appliqué detailing. She was made for the bride willing to embrace her romantic yet daring side.”

Dress: IDL 477 by Daalarna
“I think this is the perfect timeless, fun, and romantic bridal gown. It has the most beautiful detail work EVERYWHERE but is also still bridal. I think it has a little bit of everything without being over the top. It’s just an all around gorgeous dress that would look flattering on any body type!”
Jessica Goldy – Graphic Designer
Dress: Ledger by Daughters of Simone
“Picking a favorite is quite impossible. However, it’s no secret that little white dresses are trending this year. I love how brides are choosing to have fun with their wedding day look. A short dress is a perfect option for a courthouse I do, intimate elopement, or reception outfit! I chose this Daughters of Simone “LEDGER” three-piece because it’s chic, sophisticated, and fun! The darling floral lace detailing takes this set from business to bridal chic. Add sleek pumps or let your personality shine with a hat, midi veil, headband, or high ponytail! And, since the LEDGER is a set, you can rock it for multiple events. Swap the mini skirt for pants for a super cute exit look! The options are truly endless with this elevated bridal suit. I can’t wait to see how our Rocky Mountain Brides style it!”

Dress: Elenor by Liz Martinez
“I just love everything about it – it is sexy but fun – the sleeves the mermaid and the print – all of it is – just perfect!”
Erika Oltmanm – Publisher
Dress: Verona by Kim Kassas
“A true romantic at heart, the Verona dress by Kim Kassas won me over as a favorite pretty quickly! The delicately layered lace paired with the tiered, soft tulle skirt and that high slit it’s just absolute drama! The pairing feels fresh and perfect for a bride who wants to make a breathtaking entrance! Add a cathedral length veil and floor length blusher…I’ve died and gone to wedding dress heaven!”
