Brenna and Landon got married on the most perfect, not-a-cloud-in-the-sky, 65 degree day surrounded on all sides by the Southern Rocky Mountains. Brenna is from Arizona and Landon is from Texas so for them, Santa Fe was a place for them to meet in the middle. It was the place where they fell in love. About a year later, they became husband and wife in one of the most gorgeous places that the Southwest has to offer.
Their wedding style beautifully mingled all of the places they hold dear. Their venue – The Club at Las Campanas (which appropriately means “The Bells” in Spanish) was a place they visited often on their trips to Santa Fe. Many of the vendors such as their invitation designer and bridal shop were out of Amarillo, Texas – where the couple currently resides. Other vendors such as the hair and makeup artist and the videographer came from the bride’s hometown of Tucson. And of course, the bride chose many New Mexican vendors to pull the day together. She carefully selected her vendors to create a day that was not only beautiful, but meaningful.
As a photographer, my favorite part of the day was after the ceremony as the sun was setting behind the mountain range. I was able to pull Brenna and Landon away for a few moments to capture the sun-drenched landscape and their first hour as husband and wife. The bride and groom were center stage for their wedding day but the natural backdrop served to enhance their love story.
