It’s all about finding the perfect big white wedding dress, but the shopping doesn’t have to stop there! A lot of brides opt for a reception outfit change after the gown, to have an extra fun outfit for dancing and grand exit photos. From short little numbers to sparkly jumpsuits, our real life Rocky Mountain brides end their nights in style. Scroll through to see some of our favorite looks from our lovely brides!
Jaden dropped jaws in her second outfit after marrying her groom at Siempre in outside of Salt Lake City. The reception two-piece jumpsuit came from local shop Alta Moda Bridal, and looked oh-so-chic in front of the dreamy Spanish-style venue (and old school getaway car!).
Dinah married her groom at The 10th at the magical Vail Ski Resort – wearing her dream gown but of course, then changing into a short party dress. Her sparkle cowl neck mini rocked the reception with her little cowgirl boots!
Vienna said her vows to her groom at the Ogden Utah Temple before changing up the location and the look. She sported a sequin wrap jumpsuit from Nordstrom with a long white veil (and long white coat in the winter weather) for the send-off. She definitely sparkled in the sparkler exit in her second show-stopping outfit!
Allison changed into a ruffled, tiered baby doll tube dress with little white cowgirl boots – a perfect ensemble for a southwestern Santa Fe wedding. She switched up her hairstyle to match, wearing tussled curls to bounce with her dress that were studded in hair gems (our favorite little detail). She married her groom at the historical El Rey Court and shopped at ROTATE for her reception dress.
Lauren said “I Do” in Denver at the Space Gallery with her equally as stylish groom, and then changed into a floor length, chic satin gown by Denver designer Alejandro Gaeta. for the reception. The dress had a draping cape attached on the back, and looked great with her heels or her sneakers!
Kenzie kissed her groom in her gown and then changed into a glam-western getup! Her deep V, long-sleeved sequin mini from REVOLVE paired perfectly with white cowgirl boots. She shimmered all the way through the cold-spark exit (and the snow!).
Gracie married her groom at Taos Ski Valley and then danced the night away in the ultimate disco jumpsuit. A reception outfit change is already a fun way to break tradition, and changing into something wildly-not-white is allowed, too!
