The Wedding Day

“The likelihood of rain seemed certain. The likelihood of an incredible day despite whatever the weather did was even more so. All the best words you can think of to describe people – that’s Tiffany and Amos. The kind of couple that you watch in awe because they’re a true team. It just works… and so beautifully. Every detail from this wedding day was impeccably and intentionally thought out and designed. Amos’ all black leather attire + details. Tiffany’s… well, everything about her was flawless. The Maggie Sottero gown with custom sleeves and handmade (by the bride!) jewelry. And THE FLOWERS! You’ve never seen a bouquet like this – it was huge and heavy and undeniably perfect. It was like peonies & blush roses were created just for her and just for this day. The rain *mostly* held off and we were greeted with a magical, misty day in the mountains. Something literally out of a dream. It felt unreal to witness. Their day was set in beautiful Idaho Springs, Colorado at Blackstone Rivers Ranch. Their ceremony included faux fur covered wooden benches, a hand painted aisle runner, and a circular metal arbor adorned in spring blooms. The reception was set to the tone of the venue’s onsite tent – boasting more gorgeous greenery, lights, detailed cakes, and textured decor & table settings. Tiffany and Amos prioritized their photos and video, and were up for absolutely anything it took to have a bit of an adventure. They hiked a small waterfall, trekked through snow and mud, forged the river, ran through the grass and reveled in the fact that after 3 dates & countless changes, their wedding day was finally here.”

“This was a big moment for us not only because it was our wedding day, but our families were meeting for the first time (Amos’ being from the Midwest and mine from the West Coast). As far as fun little details, we picked the themed drinks based on drinks that were popular on the island of St. Kitts where we met (the Killer Bee and Rum Punch). Also, we drink about a gallon of milk a day between the two of us so we had to add Marry Me Milk! Our advice for brides planning now: Expect the unexpected! If the pandemic taught us anything it taught us to be flexible and to go with the flow (or at least try to). Also, no matter what day you pick, the weather might not be what you planned for, but it will still be perfect anyways. It literally rained the whole day, but we wouldn’t have changed a thing. Try to be in the moment, it goes by so fast! Don’t be afraid to get dirty and have fun, it makes for the best photos! The bottom of my dress was a muddy mess from pre-ceremony off road photos, but we threw it in the bathtub, rinsed her off, and she was ready to go for the ceremony! We like that the Reverend said, “Now you will feel no rain.” That really resonated with us because even though it rained our whole day, we didn’t notice or feel it a bit!”
