Celine + Alex
My husband and I love Rocky Mountain Bride and used the website for vendor recommendations and inspiration for our special day. We met 4 years ago at a craft brewery in Edwards, CO. Alex is a Colorado transplant originally from Columbia, MO and I grew up locally in Edwards, CO. We love all things Colorado and outdoors, so we knew we wanted to tie the knot in an outdoor ceremony. We decided on Giberson Preserve Frisco, CO for our venue/location (where Alex’s parents have property). Despite a hot and dry summer, it rained most of our wedding day. We had a clearing in clouds and were able to do a first look without getting soaking wet. For the ceremony, we decided to brave the rain and tie the knot outside. This made for the dreamiest, moody ceremony. You really know who your friends are when every single person agrees to stand in the rain for you! After the ceremony, we cranked the heater and started the party under the tent. To incorporate my French heritage, we decided on a croquembouche and macaroon tower instead of a traditional wedding cake. Then, we danced the night away with live music provided by Diamond Empire Band.
