Phil and Shelby met through mutual friends on the 4th of July in 2017. On that same day, four years later Phil asked Shelby to marry him at her favorite place in the entire world, Heaven on Earth Ranch. The ranch was originally homesteaded by Shelby’s family, and now is a secret hidden gem that only few know about in Montana. It was only fitting that they would also get married there a year later. On September 4th 2021, Phil and Shelby tied the knot. It was an incredibly special day that friends and family from all over the country traveled to Great Falls Montana for. Every guest was shuttled to the ranch in a daunting hour and a half trip. Once guest arrived, they all realized trip was worth with it. The ceremony was filled with so much love from a dear friend that officiated the wedding. There was a special surprise from the Bride’s mother at the end of the ceremony, which included an entire chorus singing Build Me Up Buttercup with all of the guest. It was the most incredible day, surrounded by the best group of people, in the most breathtaking place in all of Montana.
