British Columbia Styled Shoot
The Inspiration
“Expressing my love for design and planning, this shoot combines one of my favourite colour palettes of blush, peach and accents of gold for this Spring season! To me, weddings are a sacred and beautiful moment of life celebrating the love, body, and soul of the couple, which is why I wanted to turn this into a spring of romance and elegance. This stylized shoot is meant to create an elegant and romantic backdrop with its soft colours and airy feel, that expresses every girl’s dream of a fairytale ending. It was organized to allow room for creative expression and help brides see what an intimate Spring/Summer wedding could look like at Stanley Park Pavilion in Vancouver, British Columbia. Playing with two tablecloths, it illustrated how just switching up a shade can add colour and in turn change the overall look of the tablescape. They say that flowers can make or break your wedding — this shoot was a testament to how the choice of colour and flower type used can turn the venue into a romantic backdrop waiting to be stepped into. The ball gown embodies romance with its pearls, drop-down laces and flower patterns, which is then turned into an elegant and stylish two-piece bridal gown. These dresses are perfectly complemented by beautiful hair accessories and jewellry. The lounge area was meant to show a snippet of a small lounge setup that can double up as a dessert space. Every piece of this stylized shoot had a part to play and it tied everything up nicely with a consistent flow. It was an honour to work alongside these amazing vendors to not only create a vision, but allow each person’s ideas to be expressed and come together in harmony.”
