Morning

You’re ready to take on the day, starting from your accommodations at Le Germain Calgary. Head on over to OEB Breakfast Co. for some of the best brunch in the entire city, so popular that you can find locations in Toronto, Vancouver, California and even Arizona! If you’re a truffle lover, the truffled squash is a favourite for many. We recommend heading to the Bridgeland location so you can get a beautiful view of the city after breakfast. Walking down to Calgary’s East Village is a must, as it has beautiful greenspaces, great coffee and a unique vibrancy to it.

Afternoon

You’ve had an amazing brunch, a morning walk and a fresh coffee, but now what? Have a tour of some architectural sights, both old and new, including the Calgary Central Library, Studio Bell, Simmons Building, King Eddy and the St. Louis Hotel. You and your sweetheart can also visit some of the city’s best neighbourhoods for all kinds of shopping. We particularly love Inglewood, Kensington and Mission for boutiques like Plant, Purr and Fieldstudy. If you’re in the Mission area, make sure to take a walk along the Elbow River, too!

Evening

When touring a new city, it’s always fun to explore through food and drink, which is why one needs to top the perfect day off with a visit to The Nash followed by Ol’ Beautiful. The Nash is a beautiful restaurant located in the heart of historic Inglewood that features an inventive and delicious menu. If you’re getting married in Calgary and are still looking for a wedding venue, The Nash has frequently been used as a stunning location for a 100-person wedding.

Once finished, you can make your way to Ol’ Beautiful for a celebratory nightcap. For those who love a smooth beer, order the Okami Kasu Japanese ale. Sit on the patio underneath the twinkle lights and take in that crisp Alberta air with a friendly pup by your side.

As always, you can gather some additional Calgary recommendations by searching our blog by location. We can’t wait for you to dive into all things Calgary!
