I am such a sucker for small intimate weddings, especially ones in the mountains. Jenalee and Tanner have always loved the mountains and that's what made them decide to get married at the gorgeous Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge. The weather was a little tricky and they had to move their outdoor ceremony indoors. At first you may think that’s unfortunate, but the venue had gorgeous ceiling high windows looking out into the pouring rain and thunderstorm. As the clouds rolled in, the ceremony room got darker and darker and created the most intimate vibe. We got lucky and as soon as the ceremony finished, the rained stopped and we were able to explore the beautiful scenery surrounding the Lodge. Rolling hills and forests for days with low clouds just grazing the mountain tops. For the reception, everyone gathered inside for a candlelight dinner and the sweetest speeches and slideshow. It was the most stunning wedding weekend!
