Schedule a tour and see the incredible scenery for yourself, you’ll know immediately that Steamboat is the ideal place for your wedding. And with a dozen venues to choose from, there is a perfect wedding venue for every couple!

Thunderhead Lawn

Thunderhead Lawn might be our top pick for a ceremony at Steamboat Resort. How can you say no to 360º views of the surrounding landscape? Exactly! Not to mention, being on top of a mountain makes you feel like you’re the only one in the world. It makes for a private and intimate wedding ceremony no matter how big or small your party is. The capacity for this ceremony site is 300.

Vista Overlook

Vista Overlook is definitely for those couples who are wanting to celebrate in a more intimate setting. This ceremony site provides a view where the mountains flow into the valley floors and integrates the rich pastoral lands of this ranching community with the Flat Top Mountains looming in the distance. It’s truly breathtaking and will make for the most unforgettable wedding day. If you’re concerned about setting up all those chairs before and after your ceremony, don’t fret! The site fee for all three of Steamboat’s ceremony sites includes set up and breakdown!

Timber & Torch

Timber & Torch is a great option if you’re looking to have your ceremony and reception at one venue! Timber & Torch is Steamboat’s newest venue and it’s located at the base of the ski area. If you choose to have your ceremony at one of the on-mountain locations, you can move straight to cocktail hour after your I do’s without a 15-minute gondola ride down from the mountain. Sounds like a win to us!
