Nestled in Howard, Colorado, this historic wedding barn was originally built in 1861 in Northern Indiana and dismantled, moved, and rebuilt in Colorado in 2019. It was kept as original as possible and its unique touches aren’t hard to miss upon entering the beautiful property. The venue is located just 15-minutes from Salida, which is located in the heart of the Rockies in central Colorado. It’s the perfect location for your guests to truly experience Colorado and nearby adventures like the Arkansas River and Mount Princeton Hot Springs. An added bonus, there are 20 notable hotels in town so your guests won’t have an issue finding overnight accommodations.

Iconic Views and Spaces

Colorado is known for its natural beauty, but add a historic barn to the mix and you’re left with that perfect, picturesque Colorado backdrop. The ceremony view boasts the perfect backdrop of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains on one side and the Arkansas River on the other. They can even help you arrange to float your way into the ceremony via the river. The ceremony site is complete with a beautiful arch and plenty of bench seating for up to 150 guests.

Another unique amenity is the barn loft space and grain silo for the bridal party. Imagine getting ready in an elegant 800 square foot barn space on your wedding day! The groom and his groomsmen also have a 25ft Grain Silo, perfect for getting ready.

Vintage Touches

Handmade wood farm tables and unique wooden chairs are included with the venue rental. These items offer the perfect touch of elegance while playing into the vintage feel of the venue, plus you don’t have to worry about the stress of finding rental furniture. The barn reception space boasts 4,000 square feet and is ideal for up to 150 guests. Another fun vintage touch you’ll find are their built-in bars. There are two bar experiences, one indoor and the other outdoors for your cocktail hour paired with magical views of the mountains.
