Get Settled In

Start your celebrations early by checking in on Wednesday or Thursday at Cheyenne Mountain Colorado Springs, A Dolce Resort. As the bride, we always recommend booking the Presidential Suite, its size making it optimal for relaxing before the big day and as a ready room. The Presidential Suite has an attached parlor perfect for you and your bridal party to get ready in for the big day! Don’t fret — there’s a small kitchen great for a light breakfast and mimosa bar!

On Thursday evening, host a welcome reception on the beach or one of the terraces with heavy hors d’oeuvres and cocktails. A welcome reception is a great way to ensure you get time with those who traveled near and far for the big celebration. Trust us, the more opportunities for this, the better!

And, for dessert, with both bonfires and fire-pits available, you can roast deluxe s’mores as the sun sets to count down the hours until the wedding day!

Kick Back, Relax and Enjoy!

Set aside sometime the day before the wedding to unwind. You and your bridesmaids can sit back and relax with massages, facials, nail services, and more at the full-service Alluvia Spa & Wellness Retreat. Book your group together for discounted rates and special services. Or, lay by the pool if the weather permits!

While the ladies are off getting pampered, the groom and groomsmen can enjoy 18 holes of golf on the signature Pete Dye course and take a quick break at our club restaurant Gates Grille for quick drinks or lunch.

Meanwhile, incoming guests can enjoy the numerous on-site amenities, including a 9,000 sq. ft. fitness center with fitness classes, 16 indoor and outdoor tennis and pickleball courts, 5 indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs, a 35-acre private lake with seasonal watersports and boating, 3 diverse restaurants, and more!

Rehearsal Dinner

The rehearsal and rehearsal dinner is one of our favorite events of the weekend! It’s a great time to spend quality time with those you hold dearest. The Chipping Green, which can seat up to 300 guests, is the best spot for your picturesque “I Do”s — you’ll have your rehearsal here if you choose this ceremony site.

For the rehearsal, you and your guests can hop on property shuttles to head down to the golf course from your rooms. There’s no need to worry about off-site transportation when the staff can set the space and service you and your guests to your exact specifications. With the variety of Cheyenne Mountain Resort’s banquet menus, you can be assured your guests will enjoy a delectable meal — one different from your pre-set wedding choices.

After the ceremony rehearsal, you and your wedding party, extended family, and whomever else you want to invite can head to dinner. There are multiple options but we recommend the Lakeview Dining Room at The Country Club of Colorado, which offers an attached outdoor patio overlooking the mountains. Trust us, the view never gets old!

Wedding Day

When the big day finally arrives, you and your hubby-to-be can get ready in separate Presidential Suites. The Presidential Suites sleep up to 8 and will comfortably hold 12 for getting ready, which is great for the bridal party or immediate family — you choose!

Start off the day prepared with breakfast, coffee, and mimosas served to each parlor. And, to make things run smooth and seamless, the on-site Alluvia Spa & Wellness Retreat can provide wedding day hair and makeup in your suite at an additional cost.

If you are opting for a first look, pop out onto Cheyenne Mountain Resort’s catwalk for the perfect setting. We, of course, can make no guarantees that the groom will hold it together so we think a handkerchief makes for the perfect something borrowed item!

While Cheyenne Mountain Resort offers many beautiful locations for your ceremony, our absolute favorite is The Chipping Green. The Chipping Green creates an intimate ambiance for your ceremony, with stunning views for your photographer to snap those “Quintessential Colorado” wedding photos.

After the ceremony, guests can enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on Grand Rivers Terrace, enjoying good food and good views while you take your wedding party photos. Afterward, relocate to the Grand Rivers Ballroom where dinner is served, followed by dancing and entertainment. End the evening with a grand send-off (hello, sparklers!) or opt for something a little more low key, like a nightcap around the fire pit on the terrace.

Farewell

The wedding may be over, but that doesn’t mean the party has to end quite yet — not with so much more left to enjoy! Thank your guests for celebrating your love with a farewell brunch. Dine-in at the Mountain View Restaurant, or opt for a private brunch in the Remingtons Room with even more stunning mountain views.

With the main event over, you and your guests can properly enjoy the rest of what Colorado has to offer. A mini-moon before the honeymoon? We’re into it!

Book off-site Colorado Adventures through the on-site reservations team for even more outdoor fun! Whether you’re exploring the mountain through an open-air Jeep, ziplining through the canyons, toasting the day on a sunrise balloon ride, or white water rafting down the Arkansas River, anyone can find their niche of Colorado fun.

When it’s finally time pack your bags and leave Cheyenne Mountain Colorado Springs, A Dolce Resort, it will be with a full heart and memories knowing you’ve experienced all of Quintessential Colorado with your closest loved ones, in an ultimate celebration to kick off your happily ever after.
