Keanu and I met at an opera program in Michigan three years ago. We became fast friends at the program, and stayed connected through mutual opera friends for a while after that. We lived across the country from one another, but I moved to Colorado for work two years ago. Keanu eventually moved to Colorado for work as well, and the rest is history! We got engaged January of 2019, and are very excited about our wedding in December. Keanu sings opera, teaches voice lessons, and manages a security company. I am a third grade teacher, opera singer, and also a film photographer! We are both heavily invested in the arts and love everything that has to do with classical music and film photography. I’ve taught him how to use film, so we’ve been enjoying exploring Colorado through our film lenses and Polaroids. Keanu is Samoan and I’m Costa Rican, so we’re incorporating aspects of our culture into our wedding with tropical florals and traditional food. We’re very excited for our wedding this December!
