When photographers Christie Berube and Jacki Marchant asked us to design an inspiration shoot near Jackson Hole, Wyoming we jumped at the chance to work with these talented individuals. They definitely had a vision, and asked us to bring it to life….something we love doing as wedding designers! When they picked a location with the Grand Tetons as the backdrop we were inspired to create a design that meshed the organic, natural backdrop with the modern elements they were incorporating in their styling. Juxtaposing the grandeur of the mountain setting with the modern jewelry, black leather jacket, and a fun and playful wide brim hat. The color palette we chose was a perfect balance of light and dark; the lighter ivory and oat shades and the darker wine, with the mauve and stone blue to tie it all together. Each vendor was chosen carefully to complement the vision and aesthetic. We worked together to create something beautiful and inspirational for the modern bride that also loves the outdoors.
We started setting up with some dark storm clouds brewing and the rain hit about halfway through. Our models Trevor and Maddie, a real-life couple, were such troopers and kept on posing through it all! Those storm clouds made for some epic shots!
