This wedding was a West Coast lover’s dream! Britta and John are an adventurous duo, who love to travel and hike together. John’s parents’ amazing private property was the perfect location to host their wedding, because it offered so much many stunning views! A wild beachfront ceremony, a beautiful forest environment for the reception and a colourful cabin next to the dance area.
Britta chose for a natural makeup and hair-style, which perfectly complemented her stunning Anais Anette dress. The delicate lacing in the back of the dress was spectacular. And because she’s already as tall as a model, she opted for simple boho sandals. They were of course also perfect for braving the rocks and the outdoors! For the bouquet, the florist went all out and created a big stunning cascading bouquet using flowers such as roses, butterfly bush and greenery such as ivy.
Britta and John chose for a romantic first look, before doing their couple portraits before the ceremony. That way they could join their guests right away when the ceremony was over.
The ceremony setup was a true experience for the guests! They could choose their seats between either sitting on rocks or big logs on the beach. The closest family had simple white chairs on a wooden platform. Being so close by the ocean, the ceremony was accompanied by the constant sound of the waves. It was beautiful!
For the reception, the couple took the brave risk of doing everything outside! Their risk paid off, as it was truly a magical long table dinner with a view of the ocean. For the seating arrangement, they added photographs of all the hikes and adventures they did together. Because the setting was so beautiful, not a lot of extra decor was needed, but the colourful flowers in small vases definitely made everything look even more festive.
The live band, The Buckaroos, which consisted out of family and at some point was even joined by the groom’s father and sisters, kicked off the start of a great dance party.
