My inspiration for the shoot really centered around the venue Skylight. It’s a new venue in downtown Denver that is basically a blank slate. It’s this huge space with gorgeous light and white brick walls. But I wanted to still incorporate the mountains, so I planned an elopement that took place in the mountains but ended at an intimate reception at Skylight. That way the couple could enjoy both the mountains and the city into their wedding day. Little did we know, it was going to be a beautiful 70 degree day in Denver that day, but a freezing blizzard at Loveland Pass. The snow ended up being perfect, though! And the reception came together beautifully. Mandy of MJM Designs created some of the most beautiful and unique florals ever! And I’m obsessed with the blue metal chairs from Colorado Party Rentals. All the vendors that helped make this shoot happen were amazing and some of the best vendors in Denver.
