Liberty + Lashonda
Liberty + Lashonda’s engagement session captured in Colorado at El Dorado State Park by Once in a Lifetime Events & Photography is moody and misty. Happy reading!
Liberty and Lashonda met when Lashonda was out on a girls night in Old Town, Fort Collins. When she caught him skipping her and her friends in line to get into the bar, she would never have expected they’d eventually fall in love. It was love at first laugh. Their first date went so well, they ended up talking until the sun came up, and it was then that they knew it was something special. Ever since then, the laughs and good times have been non-stop.
New Year’s Eve was when Liberty popped the big question. He surprised Lashonda with a couples massage, a nice dinner, and they strolled around Downtown Denver to pass the time before attending a New Year’s Eve party. He had planned on proposing on the rooftop bar of their hotel during the fireworks, but it ended up being too crowded and the temperature was 5 below! So instead, they went back to their room; Lashonda still didn’t suspect a thing. As the fireworks continued outside and the ball dropped at midnight, Liberty got down on one knee and pulled out her gorgeous engagement ring! Lashonda was so happy she screamed “Yes!” To celebrate their love and the new year, they ended up going back outside to dance the night away! Their wedding was set for 2020 but due to COVID19, had to be postponed until 2021. Their excitement remains and their love is as strong as ever!
