Utah Engagement

The Couple

Lexi + Devin

My fiancé proposed to me in April during quarantine. He had called me earlier that day and asked me if I wanted to go on a date later that night since we hadn’t been able to go on a date in such a long time. I told him yes but I also said that I didn’t want to get ready since the only thing we could do was get take out. He told me that he wanted to make this “date” as real as we could during the pandemic. So ultimately I ended up getting all dressed up to get take out. Later that night my fiancé came and picked me up, and we picked up our food from Olive Garden and drove up the canyon to eat our food in the back of his truck bed. After we finished eating he had asked me if I wanted to walk around and watch the sunset. After about 10 minutes of walking and him acting totally weird, he finally knelt to his knee and asked me to marry him. I was so shocked because I had no idea whatsoever. This was a complete and utter surprise, but it was the best surprise I could have ever asked for. After we both shed some tears of happiness, we drove back down the canyon. We drove to his house so that he could grab his “phone charger”. When we got to his house, I was surprised yet again. He had invited my closest friends and family to be at his house. We were able to celebrate with the people we love.
