Yellow Wedding Inspiration

Energy. Joy. Happiness. Optimism.

These are all the words that come to mind when you think of the color yellow and that’s exactly what this styled shoot evokes. Planner and designer, Milk Glass Productions, worked with her team to create wedding inspiration that drew from the natural surroundings at T Lazy 7. The ceremony took place in “The Meadow” at T Lazy 7, a family-owned and operated ranch in Aspen, Colorado. Throughout the shoot, you’ll see pops of yellow mixed in with natural hues of browns and green. However, the couture yellow wedding gown by Millia London is clearly the star of the show! A true masterpiece if you ask us.

Statice Floral, a local Colorado wedding florist based in Lakewood, designed the gorgeous blooms for the day. With two bouquets, it was important to ensure they were cohesive yet different. We love how each wedding bouquet incorporated colors from the other bride’s color palette. The pale yellows and white’s are cheery while the greenery pulls out contrast so the bouquets stand out from the gowns.

The Rocky Mountain Bride team worked with Milk Glass Productions to style the brides in gorgeous couture weddings gowns. The yellow gown, Yolanda by Millia London, is a soft tulle ruffle gown that is hand dyed! The white gown, Paris by Ines Di Santo, is a sweetheart ballgown with stunning detachable puff sleeves. Paired with a pearl headband, the look is extremely feminine!

Lori, of Statice Floral, also utilized the same color palette on the beautiful table scape. By increasing the amount of greens, the table blends into the natural scenery surrounding the gathering point which makes you feel like you’re immersed in nature.

Velvet Raptor designed neutral modern paper goods to complement the natural elements and color palette. The arched table stationery is definitely trending in the wedding world these days. Velvet Raptor is known for their custom, heirloom pieces – check them out here. When planning your own wedding day, don’t be afraid to step outside of traditional shapes!
