Milk Glass Productionschose Dunbar Ranch, located just minutes outside of downtown Aspen, Colorado, as the home for their purple shoot in the monochromatic color series. Dunbar Ranch sits on 160 acres of pristine landscape with majestic views of the Continental Divide and multiple private lakes and sections of river. With a dedicated natural, organic and timeless photography style, Denver-based Laura Murray was the perfect choice to capture the essence of the venue and of the soothing and calm nature of the color purple.
The Design
Owner & Designer of Keep Floral, Bethany, approached the floral with a nature-forward inspiration. She incorporated the natural colors and textures of the venue and created a cohesive and intentional design that we can’t get enough of. The simplicity of the bouquet allows for the Bride and her gorgeous Monique Lhullier dress from Little White Dress to be the star of the show. The Denver Hair Project along with Blush Artistry and Company designed hair and makeup and we love how they focused on highlighting the Bride’s natural beauty to create a clean and timeless look.
Bethany used the same nature-forward approach for her table top florals- the different hues of purple and the greenery bring a pop of color to the setting that draws the eye to the surroundings. Milk Glass Productions chose a delicate and ornate linen from BBJ La Tavola to align with the floral design, and worked with Eclectic Hive on a modern and clean table setting. The tables and wooden benches from Colorado Party Rentals rounded out the look. We love how this top notch team of vendors turned a blank canvas into a rustic and intimate garden party.
