Orange Wedding Inspiration
What first comes to mind when you think of the color orange?
Adventure. Energy. Optimism. Warmth.
The second color in our monochromatic color series is orange. The wedding planning team behind the overall concept chose Beano’s Cabin at Beaver Creek Resort for the location. It truly couldn’t have fit the overall inspiration better. Beano’s Cabin is tucked away in the meadow of Beaver Creek Mountain. This cozy cabin is not only surrounded by beautiful green foliage but also endless adventures awaiting to begin! It’s within nature, when away from the hustle and bustle, where you can truly reenergize yourself. Let the bright orange hues below inspire your upcoming celebrations to be full of creativity and warmth from the summer sun or warmth from the love surrounding you!
Florals
Once again, the vendor team pulled together by Milk Glass production was full of talent. In true fashion, the florals stole the show. Bustle & Bloom adorned the natural wooden ceremony arch with gorgeous orange blooms mixed with leaves that look like they came straight from trees in the Autumn time. The bouquet was an extension of the arch with a pop of a few soft pink florals. Lastly, the reception table was decorated with dancing understated bud vases as to not compete with the overhead statement piece. The inviting orange color palette was the perfect contrast to the green surroundings!
Decor & Rentals
In effort to continue spotlighting colors, couples, vendors from a variety of backgrounds, cultures, and ethnicities through this shoot, Milk Glass Productions chose to highlight and focus in on the Vietnamese culture for this styled shoot. House of Wilde (MilkGlass Production’s own in-house fabricator and lighting) built a structure for above the table to hang silk lanterns and parasols. Silk Lanterns are an integral part of adding elegance to weddings around the world but especially at Vietnamese occasions. Vietnam is known for their silk lanterns and are considered to be the most beautiful ones in the world. The silk lanterns are especially popular during their traditional festivals such as the ones from the city Hoi-An being world famous.
To add some texture and dimension to the reception table, the vendor team added in a patterned origami-shaped napkin fold. They also opted for Colorado Party Rental’s Bertoia chair as it had amazing gold geometric detailing to compliment the design.
Photographer
It was a no-brainer to select Autumn Cutaia to capture the elegance of the day. Autumn is a luxury destination wedding photographer and truly has an eye for capturing the true emotion, details and story. Meet the gal behind the camera here.
Models
Female Vietnamese Model, Taylor Nielsen, was MilkGlass Production’s own 2022 Summer Intern! She was essential in helping the vendor team bring in the Vietnamese culture and source all outfits from authentic vendors such as Ao Dai Phuongie and Áo Dài Chị Dậu.
Next up we’re headed to Colorado with photographer Carrie King for the color Yellow.
