These are the words that came to mind when the Milk Glass Productions team planned and designed the blue shoot, and they knew that Camp Hale was the perfect venue to bring them to life. They drew from the stunning 360 degree views of the Rocky Mountains and the blank canvas of this venue to create a timeless and serene day.
The Florals
The Story Of Flowers, a florist based in Denver, approaches her floral inspiration from the poetry of the natural surroundings and incorporates concepts from architecture, interiors, textiles and fine arts into her designs. We love how she used a simple color pallet for this shoot and pulled from the intricate designs on the bride’s veil and reception dress – it brought out both the floral concept and showcased the details of the attire! We are obsessed with the waterfall florals and how they subtly draw attention to the natural beauty of the venue.
The Dress
Can we take a moment for the timeless ceremony ensemble from a&be bridal and stunning reception dress from Anthropologie?! Our real life couple was just darling and their real love radiated.
The Rentals and Cake
This insanely gorgeous cake by Cornerstone Chocolates & Confections out of the Vail Valley perfectly mirrored the floral design and brought a cheerful energy to the shoot. She Lettering designed the signage to compliment the cake and we love the whimsical tapestry look. House of Wilde and Colorado Party Rentals offered the perfect timeless and elegant pieces for this shoot. House of Wilde designed the bar, vignettes and the tablescape with simplicity in mind – we love how they threw in clean whites and pops of blue to shine a spotlight on the gorgeous backdrop, making you feel immersed in the surroundings.
If you are looking for a whimsical venue that allows for total creative freedom, look no further than the historic Camp Hale!
