Modern, Sustainable Denver Wedding Inspiration

Colorado Styled Shoot

The Asterisk in Denver, Colorado is modern and light, which makes it the perfect venue for a unique styled shoot. This wedding inspiration, planned by Sugar Willow Events, stood out to us because it takes a modern twist (each item is made to be sustainable!) on a traditional wedding ceremony. One thing that caught our eye was the live painting by Madeline Rose Designs, which we’re looking forward to seeing if that becomes a trend! Take a look and gather inspiration for your own modern, sustainable wedding.

The Inspiration

We took the modern feel of the venue and carried that through the whole design; working with unique seating options, bold florals and sustainable products really made the shoot unique. The stationary was all on seeded paper, everything could be planted after the shoot, which was something that was important to us. The inspiration for the cake came from a home interiors catalog. We loved the fun, modern lines Cak the Bakery used from the inspiration and created their own work of art. Live painting was a fun element that we would love to see become a wedding trend!
