The Inspiration

“As elopements are becoming more and more popular, the idea that an elopement does not need to be a production and planned out far in advance but that can be something attainable for all couples who want to do something simple and celebrate their love just the two of them. This modern happy hour elopement styled shoot took place in downtown Denver with celebratory happy hour drinks at The Wild Denver across from Union Station. The vision for the shoot was for the modern couple who wants to get married on a weekday, celebrating with happy hour drinks and taking some fun, non-traditional elopement photos around the city. Simple and sweet. The couple’s attire was inspired by a modern, non-traditional, ‘anti-bride’ elopement look with modern, minimalist, abstract florals. Weddings and elopements often come with the stigma that you need to spend a lot of money or have the cookie-cutter celebration in order to get married but with this elopement styled shoot, I wanted to inspire couples that they can elope and get married without needing to do a lot of planning prior and at the same time not breaking the bank. This is the beauty of eloping, you can do exactly what you want, when you want to and your elopement can be exactly how you envisioned it.”
