All the large-scale weddings and celebrations that we were excited about for 2020 have been postponed. However, during these tough times, a bunch of us Vancouver wedding professionals decided to do what we do best, work together to create something beautiful of a very challenging time. We wanted to stay creative thus we got together virtually to created a photo shoot while following Covid-19 rules and regulation. As the planner, I did curbside pick up for most of the vendor’s items and had a maximum of 3 people at the shoot at all times, always social distancing!
Most couples are opting for more minimalist direction. We focused on nude colors, dramatic textures and natural materials. We chose to use for less fresh floral décor and included more dried flowers, candles, grasses, pampas grass and dried foliage with some modern details. While keeping the tablescape minimalistic, we wanted to incorporate a statement piece with the asymmetrical installation suspended over the tablescape. With Covid-19, elopements are on the rise. We created a separate setup with an intimate ceremony space. We wanted to showcase that intimate can be beautiful as well.
