Though the weather wasn’t picture perfect, the cloudy skies and hazy overcast from BC forest fires painted a watercolour-like backdrop as Cara and Michael shared their love on the Victoria Terrace at the serene Fairmont Lake Louise. Pastel blue and touches of pink and mauves ground this classy wedding inspired by “Marie Antoinette meets Audrey Hepburn.” Two iconic personas magically blended to create the feel and experience of this wedding. Signature orchids played a huge role as not only a beautiful detail in the florals but an etched memory and token to the bride’s beloved mom who loved and incorporated orchids into her own wedding day. Bringing family together from BC and Alberta, Lake Louise was the optimal destination and allowed for joy to echo throughout the weekend with a planned rehearsal dinner the day before and a brunch gathering the day after the wedding. Cara and Michael considered all the personalized details and thoughtful touches to spoil their dearest guests.
